This is an original character created by *frankman, the first winner of the Art Game I started months ago (I've been so terribly busy!).
It was a pleasure to draw and paint this OC. Her garments and weapon are so cool... and that green hair! I had a great time

january22: v1.1, minor edits done
march14: v1.2, idem

haha sure! I use a more painterly style lately. I achieve that oily texture by using painter, putting all the colours on it with a very specific brush I made for this and then, blendering everything. Final touches and shiny lights with photoshop. To make things look real with this risky technique, you have to visualize the 3D nature of the model as well as you can... and try to take in account every single light focus existing to make something coherent. I tried the best I could with this one. When you want I can be giving you any advice I can give :P

Cool! I'm glad :) it was my pleasure.
I know you use to be very busy with studies, so no worry at all. Study comes first!
So, do you think I understood the character? :P maybe I made her look a little more shy or serious than the original...

A little bit too hot  but not much a big deal.
i guess I wouldn't apply the technique that much, I haven't understood Painter that much to work over it, & I'm still new in creating brushes. Any ideas? :)
